Welcome!

A minimalist desk and chair. The desk is laden with books, gadgets, a table lamp with a noted that says: Ever Tried. Ever Failed. No Matter. Try Again. Fail Again. Fail Better.

This is a blog on productivity, academics, motherhood. You will find here tips and tricks on finding happiness in a busy world while you manage two full-time jobs or the stress of a college education, or taking exams or more kids than your arms can handle! I am a PhD candidate with one year left to go (almost there! just writing, writing, and writing some more!), a higher-ed educator, podcaster, blogger, and mom to my precious 5-year-old boy. For the better part of the last decade I have been balancing all sorts of work and life goals: traveling across the world for my research (with my little research partner in tow), teaching, writing, while learning to keep my depression symptoms in check. Along the way, through many trials and errors, I have learned some tricks to be a Productive PhD Ninja.

This blog has (or will have in the coming months :)) four main categories: productivity, success strategies for college, managing work and motherhood, and the quest to find happiness. Join me on the ride, will you? 🙂
